The Datalogic S5N-PL-5-C01-PP is a high-performance diffuse beam photoelectric sensor designed for precision object detection at close to mid-range distances. With a nominal sensing distance of 350 mm using a white Kodak target (90% reflectivity), it delivers reliable results in demanding automation environments. Featuring a red LASER emitter, it ensures accurate, focused detection with a response time of just 333 µs and a switching frequency of 1.5 kHz for high-speed operations.

Its M18 tubular plastic housing with radial (90°) optics offers flexibility for installations in tight or angled spaces, and the PNP output with NO+NC configuration ensures versatile integration with most control systems. The sensor also includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, and onboard LED indicators provide real-time status feedback (output and stability).

Built for industrial durability, the S5N-PL-5-C01-PP is IP67-rated, shock and vibration resistant, and operates in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C.
