The Leuze PRK3CL1.A3/4T-M8 Photoelectric Sensor is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for precise detection using the reflection principle. It offers a guaranteed operating range from 0 to 2 meters with the MTKS 50x50.1 reflector, and a typical operating range limit of up to 3 meters. The sensor features a collimated beam path with a red laser light source (655 nm) for accurate targeting and high-resolution detection.

The laser class 1 compliance ensures safe operation in accordance with IEC 60825-1:2014 standards. The sensor provides a round light spot of 3 mm at a distance of 1,000 mm, with a typical shift angle of ± 2°, making it ideal for precise measurements and applications. It is equipped with a PNP transistor and uses light switching, providing a switching frequency of 3,000 Hz and a response time of 0.17 ms, allowing fast and accurate switching in high-speed environments.

Designed with a M8 male connector, the Leuze PRK3CL1.A3/4T-M8 Photoelectric Sensor operates with a voltage supply range of 10-30 V DC, ensuring compatibility with various automation systems. Its IP67 and IP69K protection ratings offer durability in environments exposed to dust, moisture, and high-pressure water jets.

With an operational temperature range of -40°C to +55°C, this sensor is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions. Additionally, it includes a Teach button for sensitivity adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune the sensor’s performance for different applications.
