The Datalogic S5N-PA-5-T01-PP is a precision-engineered photoelectric sensor designed to detect clear and transparent objects with outstanding accuracy. Utilizing the polarized retroreflective principle, this sensor ensures reliable operation at a nominal sensing distance of 1.7 meters, making it ideal for applications requiring detection of PET bottles, glass, or clear plastic.

Housed in a tubular M18 plastic body with a radial 90° optic position, it offers compact flexibility for various mounting configurations. The sensor features a red LED emitter, with a quick 500 µs response time and 1 kHz switching frequency, enabling it to perform effectively even in fast-moving processes. The sensitivity trimmer allows fine adjustments for optimal performance depending on object clarity and background.

Equipped with PNP NO+NC outputs, short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, and dual LED indicators (yellow for output, green for stability), the S5N-PA-5-T01-PP is ready for demanding industrial environments. Certified to IP67, it withstands shocks, vibrations, and a wide temperature range, offering dependable detection performance in packaging lines, bottling plants, and other automated systems handling transparent objects.
