Datalogic S5N-PA-5-C21-NN Photoelectronic Sensor

The Datalogic S5N-PA-5-C21-NN Photoelectric Sensor (952002191)is a reliable and compact diffuse beam photoelectric sensor designed for accurate object detection in industrial applications. Featuring an infrared LED emitter, this sensor can detect objects up to 400 mm away using a white target (Kodak 90%, 100 × 100 mm), providing consistent performance even with low-reflectivity materials.

With NPN NO+NC output configuration, this sensor offers flexible integration with a wide range of control systems. The response time of 500 µs and 1 kHz switching frequency ensures quick and precise operation in high-speed automation environments. Sensitivity can be easily adjusted via a built-in trimmer, allowing fine-tuning for specific applications.

Constructed with a durable M18 tubular housing made from PBT and PMMA, and protected to IP67 standards, the sensor is built to withstand challenging environments involving dust, moisture, shock, and vibrations. The M12 connector supports fast and secure connections, while LED indicators provide real-time feedback on status and stability.
