Pepperl+Fuchs NBB5-18GM50-E2 Proximity Sensor :

The Pepperl+Fuchs NBB5-18GM50-E2 Proximity Sensor is a high-performance M18 inductive proximity switch, engineered for precise and reliable metal detection in demanding industrial environments. With a rated sensing distance of 5 mm and flush mounting capability, it ensures stable performance even in compact installations.

Designed for efficiency, this sensor features a PNP normally open (NO) output with a 3-wire configuration, supporting operating voltages from 5 to 36 V DC. It offers a high switching frequency up to 1950 Hz, making it suitable for fast automation processes. The low voltage drop (≤1 V) and low no-load current (≤10 mA) enhance energy efficiency.

The sensor provides excellent durability with IP68 protection, a white bronze-coated brass housing, and a PBT sensing face, ensuring long-lasting operation even in harsh conditions. It also includes reverse polarity protection and short-circuit protection, enhancing operational safety.

With an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, this sensor is ideal for extreme environments. Additional features like a yellow LED switching indicator and compliance with international standards (EN/IEC 60947-5-2) make it a dependable choice for industrial automation.
