Omron E3Z-G81 Photoelectric Switch
The Omron E3Z-G81 is a photo microsensor designed to offer precise sensing with a 25 mm sensing distance and a grooved type shape. Featuring an infrared LED light source (940 nm), this sensor ensures accurate object detection. It is ideal for detecting small, opaque objects with a minimum diameter of 1.5 mm.
Operating within a power supply voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC, the sensor consumes a maximum of 25 mA, making it energy-efficient. The PNP open collector output supports up to 100 mA, with a maximum residual voltage of 1 V at full load, ensuring reliable output signals. The light-ON/Dark-ON selectable operation mode offers flexibility in various applications.
Built for durability, the E3Z-G81 is equipped with protective circuits to prevent damage from output short circuits and reverse polarity on the power supply. With a response time of 1 ms, it provides fast and reliable sensing. The sensor operates efficiently in a wide temperature range of -25 to 55°C and can withstand environments with humidity levels ranging from 35 to 85%. It is IP64 rated, offering protection against dust and water splashes.
