The Leuze HT5B/4-M8.3 Diffuse Sensor (50148007) is a compact and high-performance device based on the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression, ensuring precise detection regardless of object color.

Equipped with a focused red LED (645 nm) and fixed focal distance of 200 mm, it delivers stable detection across 2 mm to 400 mm range. The sensor minimizes detection errors with <15% black-white deviation, making it reliable for varied surfaces. Featuring a PNP output with fast 0.5 ms response time and 1000 Hz switching frequency, it is ideal for high-speed automation.

The M8 3-pin connector ensures easy integration, while the rugged PC-ABS housing with IP67 protection allows operation in harsh environments. With multiturn potentiometer adjustment, users can easily fine-tune detection range for optimal performance in industrial applications.
