Leuze PRK5B.M1/4 Photoelectric Sensor

The Leuze PRK5B.M1/4 Photoelectric Sensor 5B Series Retro-Reflective Sensor (Part No. 50145252) is a compact reflection-type sensor engineered for reliable detection of bottle containers, transparent films, and semi-transparent materials.

Using a red LED light source (645 nm) with a reflector, it delivers a guaranteed sensing range up to 4.5 m and a typical range up to 6 m, ensuring stable performance in packaging and bottling lines. The sensor features a PNP transistor output with light switching, a fast 1 ms response time, and a 500 Hz switching frequency for dependable operation in dynamic processes.

Operating on 10–30 V DC, it includes a 270° potentiometer for precise sensitivity adjustment. The IP67-rated PC-ABS housing, ECOLAB material compatibility, and wide –40 to +60 °C operating temperature make it suitable for demanding industrial and washdown environments.
