The Datalogic S5N-PA-5-E01-PP is a robust and compact optic fiber amplifier sensor designed for applications requiring precise and adaptable sensing. Housed in a durable M18 tubular plastic body with a radial 90° optic layout, it’s ideal for installations in space-restricted environments where flexibility and accuracy are essential.

Operating on the optic fiber amplification principle, this sensor supports sensing distances of 30 to 100 mm (with a white Kodak 90% target) and allows for fine-tuned sensitivity adjustment using an integrated trimmer. It features a red LED emitter, a fast 500 µs response time, and a 1 kHz switching frequency, making it well-suited for high-speed processes in automation and production.

With PNP NO+NC outputs, IP67-rated housing, and built-in protections like reverse polarity, short-circuit, and overvoltage protection, the S5N-PA-5-E01-PP ensures reliable operation in harsh industrial settings. It also includes LED indicators for output and signal stability, streamlining installation and diagnostics.
