The Datalogic S50-MA-5-C21-PP Photoelectric Sensor (Product No. S50-MA-5-C21-PP, Part No. 952022140) is a compact and reliable diffuse proximity sensor engineered for precision object detection in industrial automation. Using an infrared LED (880 nm) and featuring a sensing range of 0–400 mm, it delivers accurate detection even in varied lighting conditions or on low-contrast surfaces. This model provides NPN output with both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) configurations, offering flexibility in control logic setup.

Operating with a 10–30 VDC power supply, the sensor consumes only 35 mA, supporting energy-efficient integration. With a response time of just 0.5 ms and a switching frequency of 1 kHz, it ensures fast and reliable performance in high-speed environments. Its PBT housing and PMMA lens provide IP67-rated protection, enabling it to withstand dust, moisture, and challenging industrial conditions. Supplied with a 2-meter Ø4 mm cable, the sensor is easy to install and ideal for proximity detection tasks across manufacturing, packaging, and logistics operations.
