The Leuze HT5B/2X-M8 Diffuse Sensor (50148004) is a compact and high-performance diffuse photoelectric sensor featuring background suppression technology for precise object detection. With an adjustable sensing range of 20 to 400 mm, it ensures reliable detection regardless of object color variations.

The sensor operates using a focused red LED (645 nm) with pulsed transmission and maintains a black-white error below 15% up to 200 mm. Powered by 10–30 V DC, it offers a NPN digital switching output with a fast 0.5 ms response time and 1,000 Hz switching frequency, making it suitable for dynamic automation processes.

Housed in durable PC-ABS plastic with IP67 protection, the unit withstands demanding industrial conditions. The M8 4-pin male connector ensures secure connectivity, while a multiturn potentiometer allows precise range adjustment.
