The Baumer OR18.ZI-11206600 Diffuse Sensor is engineered for precision object detection using intensity difference technology. With a sensing distance of 10 to 600 mm, this sensor delivers fast, accurate detection supported by a pulsed infrared diode operating at 880 nm. It features a complementary PNP output for both light and dark operation modes, making it adaptable to varying application needs.

Equipped with short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, it ensures durability in demanding environments. The response time is under 0.5 ms, allowing real-time performance in automated systems. The 270° potentiometer enables easy sensitivity adjustment, while LED indicators provide clear status feedback for power and target detection.

Built with a nickel-plated brass cylindrical housing, this sensor is IP67 rated for moisture and dust resistance. It includes a 4-pin cable connection and operates reliably in temperatures from -25°C to +55°C. With low power consumption and suppression of reciprocal influence, it’s ideal for use in tightly spaced sensor arrays and complex industrial settings.
