The Baumer O500.GR-11096062 Diffuse Sensor is a high-speed fork sensor engineered for detecting small gaps and labels with precision. Using a pulsed infrared diode (880 nm) and a U-profile design, it delivers excellent performance in fast-moving packaging and labeling environments. Its 5 mm fork width and 50 mm penetration depth make it ideal for tight mechanical setups.

This sensor operates with a repeat accuracy of 0.15 mm and a response time of just 0.16 ms, supporting belt speeds up to 8 m/sec. It can detect label gaps greater than 2 mm, making it perfect for automated labeling systems. Sensitivity is easily set via a teach-in button, simplifying setup and configuration.

Built with a die-cast zinc housing and rated IP67, it offers excellent durability and protection in industrial environments. It supports push-pull output, with adjustable NO/NC logic, and operates on a 10–30 VDC supply with a maximum output current of 100 mA. The M8 4-pin connector ensures easy integration into control systems.
