Sick WL12-3P2431 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick WL12-3P2431 Photoelectric Sensor (1041436) retro-reflective sensor is a robust and high-performance solution for reliable object detection over long distances. Featuring autocollimation (coaxial optics), it operates without a minimum reflector distance, ensuring consistent detection even in confined installations.

The integrated polarisation filter allows dependable sensing of shiny or reflective objects, while the visible red LED (640 nm) ensures easy alignment. With a sensing range up to 5 m (7 m max.), fast response time of ≤ 330 µs, and 1,500 Hz switching frequency, it is ideal for high-speed automation.

The metal housing, IP66/IP67/IP69K protection, and wide temperature range make it suitable for harsh industrial environments. Complementary PNP light/dark switching and precise 5-turn potentiometer adjustment ensure flexible and accurate operation.
