The Sick GTB6-P4231 Photoelectric Sensor offers high-precision background suppression for accurate object detection in a compact rectangular housing. With a sensing range of 50 to 220 mm and a maximum reach of 400 mm, it reliably detects objects across diverse environments. Its visible red PinPoint LED light source ensures a clear and consistent beam with a small light spot size of just 6 mm at 100 mm.

Designed for efficiency, this sensor includes mechanical spindle adjustment with five turns, allowing for precise tuning. It features light/dark switching, selectable via an integrated switch, and a fast response time of <1.25 ms, making it well-suited for dynamic applications. The device operates on 10–30 VDC with a low current draw of 32 mA, and supports a PNP output with a max current of 100 mA.

With an IP67-rated enclosure, robust ABS/PC housing, and a compact M8 connector, the GTB6-P4231 is ideal for tight installation spaces and demanding industrial conditions.
