Sick GLL170-P332 Fiber Optic Sensor Amplifier

The Sick GLL170-P332 Fiber Optic Sensor Amplifier (Part No. 6063334) is a compact and highly reliable stand-alone fiber-optic amplifier engineered for fast, precise detection in industrial automation. It uses a visible red LED (632 nm) and supports multiple optical fiber types, enabling flexible sensing ranges depending on the connected cable.

Designed for long-term durability, it offers an impressive 100,000-hour service life and outstanding reliability with an MTTFD of 760 years. The amplifier provides rapid response with ≤250 µs switching time and a 2 kHz switching frequency, making it ideal for high-speed applications. It includes light/dark switching, potentiometer-based adjustment, and configurable digital output for adaptable operation.

Built with robust IP66 protection, shock and vibration resistance, and wide –25°C to +55°C operating temperature, it performs reliably even in harsh industrial environments. Safety and stability are ensured with reverse polarity, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection, making it a dependable solution for demanding sensing tasks.
