The Panasonic EX-11B (Part Number: UEX11B) is a high-performance photoelectric sensor engineered for a wide range of industrial applications. With a sensing range of 150 mm (5.906 inches), this sensor can detect small, opaque objects, such as those with a minimum sensing object size of ø1 mm (0.039 inches) when the beam is completely interrupted. The NPN open-collector transistor output is capable of sinking up to 50 mA, with short-circuit protection integrated to ensure reliable performance and safety.

This sensor offers a repeatability of 0.05 mm (0.002 inches) or less, ensuring precision even in high-speed applications. With a response time of 0.5 ms, it’s well-suited for fast-paced environments where quick object detection is critical. The IP67 protection rating ensures that the sensor is dust-tight and waterproof, allowing it to perform reliably in harsh environments. Additionally, it operates in a wide ambient temperature range from -25°C to +55°C (-13°F to +131°F) and is equipped with LED indicators to provide clear feedback on output status and detection stability.
