The Panasonic CY-111B Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. UCY111B) from the CY111 series is a highly reliable thru-beam type sensor designed for long-distance and high-precision detection in industrial environments. It offers a maximum sensing distance of 15 meters, making it ideal for applications requiring extended-range object detection. Featuring Dark ON switching mode, an infrared light source with 890nm peak wavelength, and a fast 1ms response time, it ensures dependable and responsive operation in fast-moving systems.

Built for durability, the CY-111B has a shock rating of 30g, supports ambient light resistance up to 5000 lux, and is enclosed in a polybutylene terephthalate housing with IP67 protection, making it resistant to dust and water. It operates within a 12V–24V DC range and uses an NPN output, with panel mounting and cable connection for easy installation. This model is RoHS compliant and actively supported, making it an excellent choice for current and future automation setups.
