The Leuze PRK5/4P-200-M12 Photoelectric Sensor is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for precise object detection in various industrial applications. Operating on the reflection principle, this sensor offers a sensing range from 0.02 to 4.5 m (with reflector TK(S) 100x100), and a guaranteed operating range extending up to 6 m. It is optimized for applications like detection of bottle containers and semi-transparent media, ensuring accurate and reliable detection in challenging environments. The sensor uses a red LED light source with a 620 nm wavelength, providing robust and effective performance. The NPN transistor switching element supports both light switching and dark switching modes, providing versatile functionality. With a switching frequency of 500 Hz and a response time of 1 ms, the sensor is capable of rapid and accurate detection for high-speed industrial systems.

The sensor comes with a durable ABS plastic housing, ensuring IP67 protection for dust and water resistance. It operates in temperatures from -40 to 60°C, making it suitable for a variety of industrial conditions. Additionally, the teach button simplifies configuration, while the 2,000 mm cable length ensures flexible installation in complex setups.
