The BT 205M is a reflection principle sensor designed for use in industrial applications requiring precise distance measurements. This sensor has an operating range of 0.02 – 2.8 meters, and can extend up to 4.2 meters when paired with the Reflector TK 40×60.A. Powered by a Red LED light source with a wavelength of 620 nm, it delivers reliable performance even in demanding environments.

With 500 Hz switching frequency and a response time of just 1ms, the BT 205M ensures rapid and accurate detection. It features two PNP transistor outputs, one for light switching and the other for dark switching, offering flexibility for different control applications. The sensor operates in a wide voltage range of 10-30 V DC and includes protection features such as polarity reversal protection and short-circuit protection, ensuring durability in harsh conditions.

This model comes with an included set containing the BT 205M, TKS 40×60.A reflector, and 4 M3 x 8 screws for installation. Its compact dimensions (14 mm x 32.5 mm x 20.2 mm) and IP67 protection rating make it suitable for industrial environments with high levels of dust and water exposure.
