The Leuze KRTM20M/V-20-0001-S12 Contrast Sensor is a high-precision contrast sensor from the 20 series, designed to detect slight differences in contrast on surfaces at high speed. It operates with a focused RGB LED light source, providing a rectangular light spot (1.2 mm × 4 mm) at a fixed operating range of 20 mm ± 2 mm. The light beam exits on the sensor face and is optimized for vertical alignment, ensuring consistent performance even with subtle contrast differences.

With a switching frequency of 16,000 Hz, this sensor is capable of ultra-fast detection, ideal for high-speed labeling, packaging, or print mark detection. It supports analog current output and includes a PNP transistor output for light switching, making it versatile in various application scenarios.

The Leuze KRTM20M/V-20-0001-S12 Contrast Sensor is housed in a rugged zinc metal body, offering exceptional durability with IP67 and IP69K protection, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments, including wash-down areas. The unit is equipped with a membrane keyboard and service interface for easy configuration, while a 5-pin M12 stainless steel connector ensures reliable connection.
