The Leuze IPRK18/A L.46 Photoelectric Sensor is designed for high-precision detection, particularly for highly transparent bottles, films, and glass panes. Utilizing the reflection principle, it ensures optimal performance when detecting objects that are difficult to see, thanks to its advanced sensing technology.

The LED light source emits red light at a wavelength of 660 nm, ensuring reliability in detecting even the most transparent materials. With a guaranteed operating range of up to 2.4 meters and a typical range limit of 3 meters, this sensor provides flexibility in a variety of industrial environments.

With an AS-Interface IO (AS-i interface), the sensor is well-suited for use in automated systems, facilitating easy communication and integration with industrial networks. The response time of 0.5 ms ensures rapid detection, and the 1,000 Hz switching frequency ensures high-speed operation.

The IP67 and IP69K ratings guarantee resistance to dust, water, and even high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for tough and demanding environments. The metal housing made of zinc offers excellent durability and strength, while the glass lens cover enhances optical clarity.
