The Leuze HT3C/4P-M8 Diffuse Sensor operates using the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression and features a red LED light source (633 nm) for precise detection. The sensor provides an operating range from 0.005 to 0.45 meters, with reliable performance across different object colors. It utilizes a square light spot geometry for focused detection and operates with a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz and a response time of 0.5 ms, ensuring fast and accurate detection.

This sensor is ideal for use in high-demand industrial applications, offering PNP light switching or dark switching options. The multiturn potentiometer allows easy range adjustment. Its IP67/IP69K protection ensures resilience in harsh environments, including water and dust exposure, while its wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 60°C makes it suitable for various industrial conditions.
