The Datalogic TL46-W-815G Contrast Sensor is a high-performance, high-resolution sensor engineered for contrast mark detection in high-speed industrial automation. It features a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and a precise 1.5 x 5mm spot size, ensuring reliable detection of subtle color variations on fast-moving objects. Using an RGB LED emission source, the sensor offers versatile contrast detection across various materials. The teach-in sensitivity adjustment enables quick and easy setup, making it adaptable for diverse background conditions.

The sensor supports NPN/PNP output selection, Dark/Light switching modes, and includes a 0–5V analog output for precise signal control. With an ultra-fast 15 kHz switching frequency and a 33 µs response time, it meets the needs of demanding applications. Its robust aluminum and glass housing ensures durability in harsh environments, reinforced by IP67-rated protection. LED indicators (yellow for output, green for ready, orange for delay/keylock) provide clear operational feedback. Built-in short-circuit, reverse polarity, and overvoltage protection ensure safe and stable operation.
