The Datalogic S5N-PA-5-C21-PP Photoelectric Sensor (Product No. S5N-PA-5-C21-PP, Part No. 952002181) is a compact, high-reliability sensor designed for medium-range diffuse proximity detection. With a sensing range of 0–400 mm, it uses a white LED emitter (400–700 nm) to deliver stable performance across a wide variety of materials and surface colors. The M12 connector and PNP output ensure seamless integration into modern industrial automation systems.

Operating on 10–30 VDC and drawing ≤ 35 mA, the sensor provides quick response times (1 ms) and a switching frequency of 500 Hz, suitable for general-purpose object detection. Built with a durable PBT and nickel-plated brass housing and a PMMA lens, it is rated IP67, offering protection against dust and water. It also includes vibration and shock resistance as per EN standards, ensuring dependable performance in demanding environments.
