The Baumer IGYX12P17B3/L Proximity Sensor is a compact, flush-mount inductive sensor engineered for reliable detection in space-limited industrial environments. With a 4 mm nominal sensing distance and a 3.2 mm assured range, it provides precise metal object detection with minimal mounting clearance.

Its PNP normally open (NO) output and 1.5 kHz switching frequency deliver quick and consistent signals for fast-moving automation systems. The rugged nickel-plated brass housing and PBT red sensing face ensure long-term durability, even in harsh conditions. A built-in red LED indicator shows operation status clearly.

The sensor comes pre-wired with a 2-meter cable, allowing for easy integration into existing control systems. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection for reliable and safe operation. With a tightening torque capacity of 10 Nm, it fits securely into compact setups. Rated IP67, it is resistant to dust and water ingress and operates smoothly in temperatures from -25 to +75 °C.
