The Datalogic S5N-PR-5-B01-PP is a compact, high-speed polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor engineered for precise and reliable object detection across a sensing distance of up to 400 mm. Utilizing a white LED light source (400–700 nm), it ensures accurate detection even of reflective or transparent targets. The sensor supports both PNP and NPN output types with selectable NO or NC switching, making it highly adaptable to various control systems.

Built with a PBT and nickel-plated brass housing and PMMA lens, the S5N-PR-5-B01-PP offers excellent durability and resilience in demanding industrial environments. Its M12 connector allows for secure and rapid installation, while its IP67 protection rating guarantees resistance to dust and water ingress.

This sensor is designed to deliver a quick response time of just 100 µs and a switching frequency of 500 Hz, making it ideal for fast-paced automation applications. Operating reliably in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +55°C, it's a solid choice for packaging, material handling, and assembly line systems where speed, precision, and reliability are essential.
