The Baumer IGYX12N17B3/L Proximity Sensor is a compact and reliable flush-mount inductive sensor designed for precise object detection in tight automation setups. With a 4 mm nominal sensing range and 3.2 mm assured distance, it ensures accurate performance even with limited mounting clearance.

Equipped with an NPN normally open (NO) output and a 1.5 kHz switching frequency, the sensor delivers fast and dependable signals for high-speed processes. It features a durable brass nickel-plated housing and a PBT red sensing face, providing strength and resistance in demanding environments. A built-in red LED offers clear output status indication.

The sensor includes a 2-meter pre-attached cable for quick integration into control systems and supports short circuit and reverse polarity protection to safeguard connected equipment. Designed for tightening torques up to 10 Nm, it’s secure and stable in confined mechanical spaces. Rated IP67, it offers full protection from dust and water, and operates reliably in temperatures from -25 to +75 °C.
