Baumer IGYX08P17B3/L Proximity Sensor is a compact and high-speed inductive switch designed for space-constrained and fast-response applications. Featuring a flush-mountable 8 mm stainless steel cylindrical housing, it offers a 2 mm nominal sensing distance with a PNP normally open (NO) output.

Built with robust stainless steel housing and a PBT red sensing face, the sensor is engineered for reliable performance in demanding environments. Its 3 kHz switching frequency ensures it’s capable of handling rapid detection tasks, while the 3-port red LED gives clear output indication during operation.

It features built-in short circuit and reverse polarity protection, supporting a safe and durable sensing solution. With a wide voltage range of 10–30 VDC, IP67 protection, and an operating range down to -25 °C, it fits well into a wide array of factory automation and control systems. The 2 m cable connection ensures flexible installation across varied setups.
