Panasonic FD-61 Optic Fiber Head

The Panasonic FD-61 Optic Fiber Head is a robust and precision-engineered reflective fiber optic sensor, ideal for reliable detection in industrial automation. Designed with an M6 threaded fiber head and top-view beam direction, it ensures easy installation and accurate sensing in confined or challenging environments.

This sensor offers excellent beam axis accuracy (±150 µm position, ±3° inclination), delivering consistent and stable detection results. When paired with a compatible amplifier such as the FX-500 series, it achieves a sensing range up to 450 mm, making it suitable for medium-range applications.

The FD61 features a 2-meter fiber cable with an allowable bending radius of R4 mm, providing flexibility during installation. Built for harsh industrial conditions, it comes with IP67 protection and operates in a wide temperature range from -55°C to 80°C. Additionally, it supports protective tubes (FDP-500, FDP-1000, FDP-1500) for enhanced durability.
