Panasonic EX-L212 Photoelectric Sensor
The Panasonic EX-L212 Laser Sensor (Part Number: UEXL212) is designed for precise detection and measurement applications, providing a 3-meter (9.843 ft) sensing range with an excellent repeatability of 0.05 mm (0.0020 in) or less. This optical sensor utilizes a red semiconductor laser (Class 1) for safe, accurate detection of opaque objects with a minimum sensing object size of ø3 mm (0.118 in). It is ideal for high-precision applications such as automated manufacturing, material handling, and quality control.
The EX-L212 features a sensing spot size of 8 × 5.5 mm at a 1-meter distance, with the spot size expanding to 17 × 11 mm at the maximum 3-meter sensing distance. It offers an NPN open-collector transistor output, which is highly configurable for Light-ON or Dark-ON operation based on your system requirements. With a short-circuit protection mechanism, this sensor ensures durability and safety even in harsh conditions.
Designed with IP67 protection, this sensor is resistant to dust and water, making it suitable for industrial environments. The EX-L212 also incorporates orange and green LEDs for operation and stability indicators, ensuring easy monitoring of sensor performance.
