Panasonic EX-L211 Laser Sensor

The Panasonic EX-L211 Laser Sensor (Part Number: UEXL211) is a high-precision laser through-beam sensor designed for ultra-accurate detection of very small objects over long distances. With a sensing range of up to 1 meter, it delivers exceptional performance even in demanding industrial environments.

Powered by a Class 1 red semiconductor laser (655 nm), this sensor provides a focused emission spot (approx. 6 × 4 mm at 1 m), enabling detection of extremely small objects—down to Ø0.3 mm (typical) with optimal sensitivity adjustment. It ensures excellent repeatability (≤ 0.05 mm, typical ≤ 0.01 mm) for consistent and precise operation.

The sensor features an NPN open-collector output with selectable Light-ON/Dark-ON operation, allowing flexible integration into control systems. Operating on 12–24 V DC, it offers a fast response time of ≤ 0.5 ms, making it suitable for high-speed automation. The built-in sensitivity adjuster ensures easy fine-tuning for different applications.

Constructed with a durable PBT housing, glass lens, and acrylic front cover, the EX-L211 is built for reliability. Its IP67 protection rating ensures resistance against dust and water. Multiple indicators (power, output, and stability LEDs) provide clear operational feedback, enhancing usability in industrial setups.
