Panasonic CX-442 Photoelectric Sensor

The Panasonic CX-442 Photoelectric Sensor is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for accurate detection with an adjustable range of 40 to 300 mm (1.575 to 11.811 inches). It offers a sensing range of 20 to 300 mm (0.787 to 11.811 inches) when detecting white non-glossy paper. With repeatability of 1 mm along the sensing axis and 0.2 mm perpendicular to the sensing axis, the sensor delivers reliable results in various industrial settings.

The Panasonic CX-442 Photoelectric Sensor is equipped with a PNP open-collector transistor output, allowing for versatile operation with a choice between Detection-ON or Detection-OFF modes. The 5-turn mechanical distance adjuster provides precise control over the sensor's settings, making it adaptable to different application needs. With short-circuit protection and automatic interference prevention, the CX-442 ensures stable and accurate detection in multi-sensor environments.

Rated IP67, the sensor is protected against dust and water, ensuring durability in harsh conditions. Operating at a peak emission wavelength of 650 nm with a red LED emitting element, the sensor maintains optimal performance even at longer distances, with a spot diameter of Ø15 mm (0.591 inches) at 300 mm distance.
