The Omron EE-SX672A Photo Micro Sensor is a grooved type photo microsensor that offers precise detection in demanding applications. Featuring a T-shaped design with a slot center of 7 mm, this sensor operates as a through-beam type sensor with a non-modulated infrared LED light source (peak wavelength: 940 nm) for reliable object detection. It can detect small, opaque objects with a minimum size of 2 x 0.8 mm.

The Omron EE-SX672A Photo Micro Sensor supports both Dark-ON and Light-ON operation modes to accommodate various application needs. It features an NPN open collector output, capable of handling up to 100 mA of load current. The sensor offers short-circuit protection and a response frequency of 1 kHz (with an average of 3 kHz) to ensure quick and accurate detection.

Built for industrial environments, the Omron EE-SX672A Photo Micro Sensor has an IP50 rating, protecting it from dust ingress, while operating in temperatures ranging from -25 to +55°C. With a vibration resistance of up to 100 m/s² and a shock resistance of 500 m/s², this sensor is designed to withstand harsh conditions. It comes with a connector type connection, with the option for direct soldering.
