Omron EE-SX671A Photo Micro Sensor
The Omron EE-SX671A Photo Micro Sensor is a grooved type photo microsensor designed for high-precision detection applications. With an L-shaped design, it operates as a through-beam type sensor utilizing a non-modulated infrared LED (peak wavelength 940 nm). This sensor features a slot width of 5 mm and can detect opaque objects as small as 2 x 0.8 mm.
This sensor offers selectable Dark-ON and Light-ON operation modes and comes equipped with an NPN open collector output that can handle up to 100 mA of load current. It is built with short-circuit protection to ensure durability and reliability in various environments.
The Omron EE-SX671A Photo Micro Sensor has an impressive response frequency of 1 kHz (average 3 kHz) to guarantee quick detection. Its IP50 protection rating ensures resistance against dust, and it is capable of operating in temperatures from -25°C to +55°C. The sensor is highly resistant to vibrations (up to 100 m/s²) and shocks (500 m/s²) to withstand demanding industrial environments.
It is available with a connector type connection, and direct soldering is also possible for flexibility in installations.
