Omron EE-SX671-WR Photo Micro Sensor
The Omron EE-SX671-WR is a grooved-type photo microsensor with an L-shaped design. It utilizes a through-beam type sensing method and features a non-modulated infrared LED (peak wavelength 940 nm) for detection. The sensor has a slot width of 5 mm and can detect objects as small as 2 x 0.8 mm.
This model offers selectable Dark-ON and Light-ON operation modes, making it adaptable for various industrial applications. It has an NPN open collector output, with the ability to handle up to 100 mA of load current, and comes with built-in short-circuit protection for enhanced durability.
The EE-SX671-WR operates with a response frequency of 1 kHz (with an average of 3 kHz), ensuring fast and precise object detection. It is designed with an IP50 protection rating, making it resistant to dust and suitable for use in environments with challenging conditions. The sensor can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +55°C and is highly resistant to vibration (up to 100 m/s²) and shocks (500 m/s²).
