The Omron E3FA-DN12 2M Photoelectric Sensor is a compact and highly reliable cylindrical sensor designed for general industrial automation. It utilizes a diffuse-reflective sensing method with a sensing distance of up to 300 mm, optimized for detecting white objects like 300 x 300 mm paper. With a red LED light source and a defined spot size of 40 x 50 mm, it delivers accurate and stable detection performance.

Engineered for flexibility, this sensor offers Light-ON/Dark-ON mode selection and single-turn sensitivity adjustment for easy setup. It features an NPN open-collector output rated at 30 VDC and 100 mA, with protective circuits for short-circuit and polarity reversal protection. The sensor reacts quickly with a 0.5 ms maximum response time, ensuring efficiency in high-speed environments.

With a rugged ABS housing, PMMA lens, and IP67/IP69K enclosure ratings, it withstands harsh industrial conditions. Its wide ambient operating range from –25 °C to +55 °C and excellent resistance to vibration and shock make it a dependable choice. A 2-meter pre-wired cable allows simple integration into existing systems.
