Leuze ISS244PP.1/44-40N-S12 Inductive Switch

The Leuze ISS244PP.1/44-40N-S12 Inductive Switch (Part No. 50133521, ISS 244PP.1/44-40N-S12) is a high-performance cubic inductive proximity sensor designed for accurate non-contact metal object detection in demanding industrial environments. With a 40 mm operating range limit (Sn) and an effective sensing range of 0–32.4 mm (Sa), it delivers reliable switching performance for automation, material handling, and machine control applications.

The sensor features a special antivalent output configuration with dual PNP transistor outputs, providing both NO and NC switching signals for flexible integration with PLCs and industrial controllers. Operating on a 10–30 VDC power supply, it supports a maximum switching current of 200 mA, 100 Hz switching frequency, and a 100 ms readiness delay for stable performance. Constructed with a durable PA66 plastic housing and polyamide sensing face, the sensor is built for long service life and reliable operation.

The M12 A-coded 4-pin metal connector ensures secure and simple installation, while four integrated LEDs provide clear operating and switching status indication. With an IP68 and IP69K protection rating, the sensor resists dust, water immersion, and high-pressure washdowns, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments. Designed for operation from -25°C to +85°C, the ISS244PP.1/44-40N-S12 offers an exceptional MTTF of 1,899 years, ensuring dependable long-term performance in critical industrial applications.
