The Leuze HT25C/4P-M12 Diffuse Sensor is a powerful and compact photoelectric sensor designed for accurate object detection over extended distances. Utilizing the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression, it delivers reliable performance across a wide range of object colors and materials. It boasts a black-white error of less than 10% up to 400 mm and a maximum operating range of up to 1.2 meters, making it ideal for applications requiring longer sensing distances.

This sensor features a red LED light source (640 nm) and supports both light and dark switching via a PNP transistor output. With a fast response time of 0.5 ms and switching frequency of 1,000 Hz, it is well-suited for high-speed production environments. The rugged ABS plastic housing, M12 PUR connector, and IP67/IP69K protection rating ensure durability in harsh industrial and washdown conditions. A multiturn potentiometer allows precise range adjustment, while ECOLAB certification guarantees resistance to industrial cleaning agents. Its compact size and through-hole mounting options make it easy to integrate into various automation systems.
