The Datalogic S51-PA-5-C01-PK Photoelectric Sensor is a high-performance diffuse proximity sensor designed for reliable object detection across various industrial applications. Operating on the S50 series platform, it uses a red laser light (650 nm) to provide accurate and focused detection with a spot size of 1.5 x 5 mm using a standard 9 mm lens.

This sensor offers a sensing distance of up to 700 mm (27.559 inches) and supports both Dark-ON and Light-ON PNP output modes for versatile integration. The M12 connector ensures easy installation, while its IP67-rated housing—made from PBT and nickel-plated brass—delivers excellent durability in harsh environments.

It runs on a 10–30 VDC power supply with 35 mA max consumption, supporting an output current of up to 100 mA. With a 500µs response time and 1 kHz switching frequency, it ensures fast and precise detection. The sensor also boasts resistance to vibration and shock, with operating temperatures ranging from -10 to 55°C. Perfect for reliable automation sensing where speed and precision matter.
