The Datalogic S3Z-PR-5-B01-PD Photoelectric Sensor (Product Number: S3Z-PR-5-B01-PD, Part Number: 95B010111) is a compact polarized retroreflective sensor engineered for reliable object detection in industrial automation systems. Utilizing a red LED emitter (665 nm), it ensures high-contrast detection of reflective and low-reflective targets at distances up to 4 meters when paired with a reflector.

This sensor features a PNP dark-on output configuration, making it ideal for applications requiring object detection in the absence of reflected light. The fast 1 ms response time and 500 Hz switching frequency support dynamic and high-speed operations. It operates on a 12–24 VDC power supply and offers IP67-rated protection, ensuring durability in wet or dusty environments. The housing is constructed from PBT with a polycarbonate cover, and the optical elements are made from PMMA and PC, providing ruggedness and optical clarity.
