Baumer IGYX18P17B3/L Inductive Proximity Sensor delivers reliable object detection with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and a quasi-flush mounting design for versatile integration into industrial environments. The sensor maintains consistent performance across temperature variations, with a ±10% drift over the 0 to +60 °C range and a hysteresis of 3–20%, ensuring accuracy in challenging conditions.

The sensor features a PNP normally open (NO) output with a maximum switching frequency of 400 Hz, making it suitable for dynamic applications. It supports short circuit and reverse polarity protection, with a maximum output current of 200 mA. A red LED indicator provides clear output status, enhancing usability.

With a rugged brass nickel-plated housing and a PBT red sensing face, the sensor is IP67 rated for protection against dust and moisture. Measuring 18 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length, it includes a 2-meter cable for flexible connection. It is engineered for operational reliability in temperatures from -25 to +75 °C, with a tightening torque capacity up to 25 Nm.
