The Banner R58ECRGB1 is a high-speed color mark sensor designed for reliable detection of registration marks in automated production environments. Its RGB LED light source automatically selects the optimal wavelength—red, green, or blue—based on the contrast of the target surface. This ensures precise mark detection, even on challenging or multi-colored materials.

It features a rugged zinc alloy die-cast housing and is rated IP67 and NEMA 4X, making it suitable for use in wet or dusty conditions. The 2-meter cable connection and bipolar NPN/PNP output provide flexible integration into existing systems. With a repeatability of 15 µs and a fast response time of 0.05 ms, it excels in high-speed packaging, labeling, and printing applications.

The sensor includes remote teach capability, timing functions, and a bargraph indicator for intuitive alignment and monitoring. Its compact beam size of 1.2 x 3.8 mm at 10 mm allows for accurate detection of small or closely spaced marks on moving materials.
