The Panasonic EX-32A-PN Photoelectric Sensor (Part Number: UEX32APN) is a compact and efficient photoelectric sensor designed for detecting opaque, translucent, or transparent objects. With a sensing range of 50 mm (1.969 in), it is optimized for use with non-glossy paper objects but can be used with other materials by confirming detection with an actual sensor.

The PNP open-collector transistor output offers a maximum source current of 50 mA, while short-circuit protection is incorporated for added reliability. The sensor operates with a response time of 0.5 ms or less, ensuring quick and accurate detection. The stability indicator (green LED) and operation indicator (orange LED) provide visual feedback about the sensor’s status.

With an IP67-rated housing, the EX-32A-PN offers protection against dust and water ingress. It operates in a broad ambient temperature range from -25°C to +55°C (-13°F to +131°F), making it ideal for use in industrial environments.
