The Panasonic EX-32A is a miniature threaded photoelectric sensor designed for reliable diffuse reflective detection in tight industrial spaces. With a sensing range of 50 mm, it accurately detects opaque, translucent, or transparent objects—even in challenging environments.

This sensor features an NPN open-collector output (max 50 mA), a fast 0.5 ms response time, and integrated short-circuit protection for safe operation. It includes LED indicators—orange for output and green for stability—ensuring easy status monitoring during use.

The EX-32A runs on 12–24 V DC and maintains low power consumption (13 mA max). Users can fine-tune performance using its continuously variable sensitivity adjuster, while the die-cast zinc housing (nickel-plated) with acrylic lens ensures durability under harsh industrial conditions. It’s rated IP67, making it suitable for washdown or dusty environments.

The unit comes with a 2-meter cable, is CE and UL certified, and tolerates high shock and vibration, making it ideal for demanding automation setups. Lightweight at just 20 g, it offers high performance in a compact, rugged form factor.
