The Panasonic EX-31B-PN Photoelectric Sensor (Part Number: UEX31BPN) is an advanced photoelectric sensor designed for detecting opaque objects with a sensing range of 500 mm (19.685 in). Ideal for detecting objects with a diameter of 2 mm (0.079 in) or larger, this sensor offers excellent repeatability and a response time of 0.5 ms or less, ensuring fast and reliable performance.

It features a PNP open-collector transistor output with a maximum source current of 50 mA and short-circuit protection for safe and reliable operation. The sensor is housed in a durable IP67-rated casing, offering protection against dust and water ingress, making it perfect for use in industrial environments.

The Panasonic EX-31B-PN Photoelectric Sensor operates in a broad ambient temperature range from -25°C to +55°C (-13°F to +131°F), ensuring reliable detection even under extreme conditions. It is equipped with both an operation indicator (orange LED) and a stability indicator (green LED), providing real-time feedback on the sensor's status.
