Panasonic EX-31B Photoelectric Sensor

The Panasonic EX-31B Photoelectric Sensor (Part Number: UEX31B) is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for detecting opaque objects with a sensing range of 500 mm (19.685 in). It is capable of detecting objects with a diameter of 2 mm (0.079 in) or larger. The EX-31B is ideal for industrial environments where precise and reliable object detection is critical. It offers excellent repeatability and response time of 0.5 ms, ensuring fast and accurate feedback in a variety of applications.

This sensor features an NPN open-collector transistor output with a maximum sink current of 50 mA and short-circuit protection, making it suitable for a wide range of control and automation systems. The IP67-rated housing ensures protection against dust and water ingress, making it highly durable in harsh environments.

The Panasonic EX-31B Photoelectric Sensor operates over a broad ambient temperature range from -25°C to +55°C (-13°F to +131°F), ensuring reliable performance even under extreme conditions. Additionally, the operation indicator (orange LED) and stability indicator (green LED) provide real-time status feedback to ensure optimal performance.
