Panasonic EX-14A Photoelectric Sensor
The Panasonic EX-14A (Part Number: UEX14A) is a reliable photoelectric sensor that offers superior performance in industrial applications where precise object detection is essential. It provides a sensing range from 2 mm to 25 mm (0.079 to 0.984 inches), with 10 mm (0.394 inches) as the optimal detection point. This model is capable of detecting even the smallest objects, such as a ø0.1 mm (0.004 in) copper wire, when the beam is completely interrupted. The hysteresis is maintained at 15% or less of the operational distance for consistent performance.
The EX-14A comes with NPN open-collector transistor output, with a maximum sink current of 50 mA and built-in short-circuit protection. It operates with a 12 to 24 V DC supply voltage, ensuring versatility in various industrial environments. The response time is 0.5 ms or less, enabling fast and accurate detection.
With an IP67 rating, the sensor is dust-tight and waterproof, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
