The Panasonic CY-121A Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. UCY121A) is a compact and efficient detection solution from the CY-100 series, designed for close-range object sensing. It utilizes a diffuse reflective sensing method with a sensing range of 100mm (3.937"), making it ideal for applications that require precise, short-distance detection. Featuring a 1ms response time and infrared light source, it ensures fast and stable operation.

Engineered for reliability, the CY-121A offers IP67-rated protection, shielding it from dust and moisture in industrial environments. It operates on a 12V to 24V DC supply and provides an NPN open collector output. The sensor comes with a 2-meter cable for easy wiring and functions effectively within a -25°C to 55°C temperature range. While this model is now obsolete, it is a reliable component for maintaining or upgrading existing automation systems.
