Panasonic CX-421-P Photoelectric Sensor
The Panasonic CX-421-P is a high-performance diffuse reflective sensor designed for precise detection of opaque, translucent, or transparent objects at a sensing range of 300 mm (11.811 in). With its excellent repeatability of 1 mm (0.039 in) and hysteresis of 15%, it delivers reliable and consistent performance. The sensor is powered by 12 to 24 V DC and has a low current consumption of 13 mA or less. It features a PNP open-collector transistor output with short-circuit protection and a response time of 1 ms or less, ensuring fast and accurate detection.
Built for durability, the CX-421-P is rated with IP67 protection, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments. The sensor also incorporates an automatic interference prevention function, allowing two units to be mounted closely without causing interference. With a continuously variable sensitivity adjuster, the CX-421-P ensures easy calibration and stable operation, even in environments with varying ambient conditions such as temperature, humidity, and light levels.
